DMin in Transformational Leadership


The church of Jesus Christ in Asia is growing and maturing, and so must her leaders. Leaders who received formal training in the past are leading more complex ministries today. They need to reflect on what they have learned through years of ministry to maximize their gifts and abilities for God’s kingdom. Effective leaders also select and train emerging leaders.

This program has two purposes. First, it seeks to further develop the capacity of established ministry leaders for godly influence and ministry impact so they will finish well. Second, it aims to equip established leaders so that they can train the next generation of Asian Christian leaders and thus contribute to the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Target Group

The Doctor of Ministry program has been developed for those who have been involved in organizational leadership for at least seven years after completing a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent. It is aimed to help develop the personal and organizational leadership capacity of those tasked by God to give overall leadership to multi-staff churches and growing organizations.

Core Values

The core values of IGSL undergird the Doctor of Ministry program. The program is designed to rekindle the participants’ spiritual passion, upgrade their leadership, sharpen their networking and interpersonal skills, and clarify their ministry focus while strengthening their biblical and theological foundations.
