Laura Joseph joined the IGSL faculty in August 2018. She is presently involved in the Partners in Ministry certificate program which seeks to equip ministry wives in the areas of biblical content, godly character, conviction, and competency in ministry.

Laura has been serving in ministry since she was in high school, sharing the gospel, discipling, leading worship, and teaching. From 1999 to 2004, she was an English teacher at Asian Christian High School in India. She also served in a church while her husband, Joseph, taught at the Asian Christian Academy – Evangelical Theological Seminary. She became a pastor’s wife in 2012 when her husband served as one of the pastors at Bangalore Evangelical Church. And from 2013 to 2015, she was a board member for ProVision Asia in Bangalore. She is a registered dietitian as well.

Laura brings to IGSL a deep love of ladies from all nations and first-hand knowledge of what it is to be a partner in ministry with her husband. She desires to see women free in the truth of the gospel, working as agents of change in this hurting world wherever God puts them to be His salt and light.

Trained as a dietitian, Laura enjoys learning about food from many different nations. Parenting teenagers is her main focus right now, as well as their menagerie of animals. In the sparse downtime, you can see her watching crime shows or international movies.
