Basic Academic Writing Workshop

This workshop will assist students in understanding what “Academic Writing” is and how to acquire the skill. This module is for people who are interested in improving their skill in writing academic papers (e.g. term papers, reports, essays, reflection, literature review, etc.). It will help participants become familiar with ‘plagiarism’ and ‘referencing’. The instructor will go through basic Turabianformatting, proper citation, content structuring, and other principles of scholarly writing. This 3-day training aims to prepare the individual for a ‘graduate level’ writing composition that can contribute to intellectual flourishing among Christians in the academe, the church, and society.
