Coaching is an important part of the IGSL experience.  Students meet once a week in “iron-sharpening groups” to discuss leadership and other personal concerns, with a member of the faculty serving as coach.  Iron-sharpening groups also provide space for students to de-compress from the demands of academics through sports, leisure activities, and fellowship.
