In addition to the general requirements for admission to IGSL, applicants for the Master of Theology program must have:
- completed a Master of Divinity degree or its equivalent in a qualified seminary
- obtained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 (on a 1-4 scale, 4.0 high) in all previous graduate theological studies;
- completed IGSL’s core curriculum in the department of his/her specialization and at least one advanced class in either Hebrew (OT 607 or 608) or Greek (NT 607) exegesis, or have satisfactorily covered the equivalent of that curriculum elsewhere.
Students lacking core curriculum classes from previous theological studies may be admitted into the Master of Theology program under the provision that before acceptance into candidacy, they will complete those classes at IGSL without credit toward the Master of Theology degree.
