Janet Hobson served as staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) from 1975 to 1978. For eight years after that, she ministered alongside her husband in church planting and pastoral ministries. In 1988, she served through CCC again, and became a member of the IGSL Partners in Ministry (PIM) faculty from 1989 up to the present. She was the Director of the PIM certificate program from 1993 to 1994 and from 2000 to 2004.
Jan, as she is known to many, has been part of the PIM Leadership Team since 1993 and has taught several classes in the program. At present, she also serves as member of the Leadership Programs team and as Iron Sharpening Group (ISG) leader.
She is passionate about encouraging and empowering pastors’ wives to love God, love their husbands, and to thrive in the context of building the Kingdom of God.
She is married to Dr. Steve Hobson, and they are both from the United States. They have two grown children, Craig and David. Jan loves lakes, mountains, and the ocean. In the Philippines, she especially enjoys snorkeling in the South China Sea with her husband.
