Dr. Rod Santos has been serving in the ministry for more than 25 years. He is presently an adjunct professor and an on-call counselor at IGSL. He is also involved in various ministries, including being a volunteer pastor at Greenhills Christian Fellowship (GCF) West; an on-call counselor at Philippine Campus Crusade for Christ (PCCC); and a key leader, speaker, facilitator and radio host at Living Waters Philippines.
Dr. Santos graduated with high honors for his Master of Divinity degree in 2004. He is a Birkman certified trainer with Birkman, USA, as well as a master teacher with WorldTeach Philippines. He is also a member of i-CARE, a research-based disaster response committee under a joint project of Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC), World Evangelical Alliance, and the Humanitarian Disaster Institute at Wheaton College.
He wrote the book Turned Off by Church: What Hurts People and What Would Heal Them and a dissertation entitled “Renewal in the Philippine Context: Philippine Culture Interacts with Scripture and Reformed Theology towards Personal and Church Renewal.”
As a counselor, pastor, and teacher, Dr. Santos seeks to heighten Christian leadership by meeting God in areas of personal brokenness to firm up one’s soul through practicing spiritual discipline and aiming for authentic leadership.
He is married to Marilou, and they are blessed with two daughters, Charity Grace and Bethel Joy. Carpentry, landscaping, mountaineering, fishing, running, and biking are some of the things he enjoys in his spare time.
